About The IIS University
The IIS University is a deemed- to-be-a-university (placed in category 1 by MHRD, Government of India) under the section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956. With over 4500 students and 215 staff members, the University offers UG, PG and Doctoral programmes in Arts, Science, Commerce, Home Science, Management and Computer Science & IT. Established in 1995, as the International College for Girls, affiliated to the University of Rajasthan, the college has crossed significant milestones in its journey towards excellence in higher education. Besides receiving numerous other accolades, it has been accredited A+ by NAAC of UGC, recognized as a college with potential for Excellence (CPE) by the UGC and selected as a model college by the state government. In a national survey by AC-Nielson-ORGMARG in April -May 2010 for the India Today Magzine, ICG is rated as the top college in the state in Arts, Science and Commerce streams. Ranked among the top 30 institutions of the country in this survey, the college has become a symbol of quality education and women empowerment grooming the young girls into World Ready Women.
About CRIT
Centre for Research, Innovation and Training (CRIT) at the IIS University, Jaipur has been established with a vision to collaborate with the industry and other organizations to undertake cross-functional research and development while developing a symbolic setup leveraging competencies of both industry and academia for societal development. CRIT aims to provide an enabling environment for continuous development and growth of faculty and students for transforming them into real propositions through research, incubation and Industry-Institute-Interaction leading to development of futuristic and commercially viable technologies and businesses.
